- 1 cup brown rice
- 100 grams poached chicken breast
- Pineapple rings/diced pineapple
- Spring onion
- Sesame seeds
- Teriyaki sauce (available from all major supermarkets)
- Red capsicum
Cook rice according to instructions found on the pack.
Prepare ingredients by cutting the poached chicken breast into small pieces and chopping the capsicum, spring onion and pineapple if necessary.
Placing the chicken into a bowl, cover in a small quantity of teriyaki sauce and toss until chicken is evenly coated in the sauce.
To assemble the bowl, lay the rice on the bottom of the bowl and cover with the chicken and other bowl components. Make sure to keep the quantities of pineapple and teriyaki sauce small, as the focus of the dish should be on the lean protein and vegetables, not the condiments.
